Hey there, chickadee, my name’s Holly!

I’m a mechanical design engineer with a passion for DIY home decor. All throughout grade school I loved making anything I could with my parents since both of my parents sew, cook, bake, and create! (You read that right, sewing is not just for women.) My dad is also a welder by trade with a full workshop in his garage. So, pretty much anything I could dream up and was reasonable in cost, I could make. This is what truly led me to engineering.

I know most people hear “engineer” and assume it’s someone who is really smart. While this is usually true, an engineer is really a problem solver. And my problem I need to solve is creating beautiful, affordable home decor. I’m sure you are in the same boat, so grab a life vest and jump in because we are about to get busy crafting!
